Lemuroid itself does not provide games. Users must obtain their own ROM files. Due to copyright restrictions, it is illegal to download games you do not own.
Lemuroid is a free, open-source emulator designed specifically for Android devices. Think of it as a universal remote for retro gaming. Instead of downloading a separate app to play Nintendo (NES) games, another for Game Boy Advance (GBA), and a third for PlayStation (PSX), Lemuroid bundles support for over 20 different classic consoles into one sleek, user-friendly application.

Trusted Rom Packs will only contain the media formats listed in our table above (like .nes , .gba , .zip , .chd ). Never run or keep a file from a ROM site that ends in .exe , .apk , or .bat . These are malicious programs that can infect your PC or phone.
While Lemuroid is compatible with many formats (like .iso ), using compressed formats ( .zip or .chd ) can save significant storage space on your device. CHD is particularly good for CD-based games like PlayStation titles. Lemuroid itself does not provide games

If you have Final Fantasy VII (3 discs) in your pack, Lemuroid doesn't have a native disc swapper in the free version (as of late 2024). Convert the 3 .bin files into a single .pbp (PSP format) using PSX2PSP . Lemuroid reads .pbp files as one seamless game.
Most packs come as .7z or .rar . Use an app like ZArchiver on Android or 7-Zip on PC to extract them. You want a folder structure like this on your SD card or internal storage:
