Citect SCADA supports two different software licensing models:
If the mower becomes completely unresponsive or keeps restarting repeatedly:
Make sure the firmware file is sitting openly on the drive and not buried inside a folder. Remove any other files or old firmware versions from the USB stick.
Once your firmware is updated, it is good practice to perform a quick inspection of your lawn setup. Clean the charging contacts with fine sandpaper to ensure stable voltage delivery. Check your boundary wire for any sagging sections, as the new navigation patterns might cause the mower to sit closer to the edges than it did with older software.
Pull the USB flash drive out of the port. The mower will automatically reboot and finish the installation process. landxcape firmware update
To ensure the mower recognizes the update file, you must use a specific drive setup: : The USB flash drive be formatted to
Follow these exact steps to ensure a smooth installation process without bricking your device. Step 1: Format Your USB Drive Insert the USB drive into your computer.
Download the latest firmware file (usually packed as a .bin or zipped file) to your computer. If the mower becomes completely unresponsive or keeps
TechGard Robotics Hub Reading Time: 8 minutes
The process is managed entirely through the official . Here is the current workflow as of 2025:
Replace the rubber port cap tightly to maintain the mower's weatherproofing. Clean the charging contacts with fine sandpaper to
The feature allows you to keep your robotic lawn mower up-to-date with performance improvements and bug fixes via a USB flash drive or, for Wi-Fi models, the mobile app. USB Update Procedure
Manufacturers frequently release software patches to fix bugs reported by users in real-world conditions.
Remove the rubber cap and insert your USB flash drive firmly into the port. Turn the mower back on by pressing the power button.
Updates often refine the algorithms governing how the mower maneuvers around obstacles and follows the boundary wire. This reduces instances of the mower getting stuck, minimizes tracking errors, and ensures a more even cut across your entire lawn. Battery Optimization
The FLEXERA softkey solution stores license information on a FlexNet Enterprise License Server. The Citect SCADA client process will retrieve licenses from this server as required by the Citect SCADA system. To activate and administer licenses, you use the Floating License Manager (see Activate Licenses Using the Floating License Manager).
In both cases, Citect SCADA uses a Dynamic Point Count to determine if your system is operating within the limitations of your license agreement. This process tallies the number of I/O device addresses being used by the runtime system.
A point limit is allocated to each type of license included in your license agreement. These license types include:
A special OPC Server License is also available if you want to run a computer as a dedicated OPC server. For more information, contact Technical Support.
If required, you can specify how many points will be required by a particular computer (see Specify the Required Point Count for a Computer).

• There is no distinction between a Control Client and an Internet Control Client.
• There is no distinction between a View-Only Client and an Internet View-Only Client.
